Not sure if it’s because Johnny Depp looks so freaky and wild as the Mad Hatter or that I want to see THAT particular tea party. Or that Helena Bonham Carter’s head is abnormally large as the Red Queen. Or that I really think Mia Wasikowska looks perfect as Alice (and I know she can pull it off cause she’s a damn fine actress). Or maybe I’m excited simply because it’s Tim Burton’s wacky thought processes up there and whatever he envisions, it’s something I always want to see myself.
