By making a movie about an old, rundown mental institution for the criminally insane, located on some spooky remote island. Here’s the trailer to Scorsese’s next flick, Shutter Island, starring his muse Leonardo DiCaprio. It doesn’t necessarily feel like a Scorsese movie — and yet, it seems very familiar.
Looks like Leo, who is supposed to be a U.S. Marshall hunting an escaped murderess, turns into a patient of some kind and goes a little nutso himself. And the rest of the cast is to die for: Ben Kingsley, Patricia Clarkson, Michelle Williams, Max von Sydow. Could be a keeper!
