Just BRING it! That’s the message I’m getting from the latest G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra trailer just released:
I’m a girl, I admit it. Therefore, I do not hold any childhood memories of playing with miniature green plastic soldiers in the dirt in my backyard. Not to say I could have, but G.I. Joe figurines were generally not in my play book. Wait, I think my grandmother had some in an old toy box (my dad’s, I guess) and when left with nothing else to do at her house, I MAY have indulged in a little WWII war games.
Still, I can appreciate a well-made action movie with high-tech gadgets, car chases, special effects, the Eiffel Tower being destroyed by what looks like fast-acting green mold — and of course, Channing Tatum. If you read my Fighting review, you know how I feel about him.
G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra is in theaters Aug. 7
